Call for Abstracts

The organising committee for the IGNSS 2006 Symposium on GPS/ GNSS invite you to participate in the 2006 event.

Please note that abstracts for these meetings can only be submitted on-line.

IGNSS Abstract Criteria
Submissions are invited on land, marine, air and space applications for a wide range of GPS/ GNSS related topics.

Format of Abstracts

1. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and supplied in MS Word format (for PC). PDF is not acceptable.

2. Author forenames/surnames should be explicit: to minimise ambiguity use first initials and last name. Please use last names first followed by a comma and then first initials.

3. Abstracts should appear as one paragraph, or in four sections; Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

4. Any tables used should be simple. Figures should not be supplied.

- Tables should be tab-spaced text (not key-spaced), or as Word tables, ie. not pasted in from other applications.
- Carriage returns should not be used within cells
- Tables will be reduced to one column width
- If figures are necessary, they should be of high quality, and lettering/symbols/lines should be clear and distinct as they will be reduced to one column width for publication and their will not be sufficient time to revise them.

5. All special characters/symbols/artwork should be retained in the electronic copy. If necessary, specify any special characters used to represent non-keyboard characters. Take care not to use I (cap i) or l (ell) for 1 (one); O (cap o) for 0 (zero); or ß (German esszett) for ß (beta).

6. If references are essential, they should be contained within the text in the form: (Smith et al. Eur J Anaesth 1998; 15: 100-1).
